The history of our four-star hotel Gramaser!

Tradition and modernity combined to form classic elegance.

Dawn of a new era!

From a dance hall to a four-star hotel..

In 1969 Grandfather Ganahl bought the one-storied café with dancing called the ‘Grillalm’ right at the centre of a then really drowsy little village, Ischgl. In view of the emerging winter tourism in the Paznaun, he instantly began to rebuild the café and transform it into a modern hotel. In 1978 Franz and Gabriele took over the hotel and have continuously expanded it since then. Today they run the hotel together with their children and the guests who stay here can enjoy all the amenities provided by the Gramaser, a four-star hotel with 60 beds, two restaurants, a wellness area and an underground car park.

The Gramser has grown along with the village of Ischgl and today offers its guests all the amenities needed to spend unforgettable holidays in Ischgl. It’s of top priority for the Ganahl family that their guests have a pleasant stay at their hotel. Experience the unique hospitality and the contemporary design the Gramaser is well known for.
